AccuFund for Government is an accounting solution designed for use by municipalities, county authorities, special districts, and other government entities. The system has a core set of features, including a general ledger, a form and report generator, financial reporting, budget reporting, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, court fines management, business licensing, utility billing, fees and taxes, and more, plus add-on modules for accounts receivable, human resources, payroll, grants management, purchasing, allocations, and requisitions. AccuFund for Government’s utility billing system gives users the ability to track billing and collect customer payments, including any incurred fees. Users can manage an unlimited number of meters, charges, and notes for a single location, with charges individually tracked to facilitate individual customer payments. Defined fees, including late fees, are automatically calculated and applied to customer bills, and billing statements can be customized by users to include their logo or other graphical elements. Users can define personal and property tax calculations, and billing periods, to generate tax bills. Bills are created in the built-in report and form designer, which allows users to copy and customize report templates to produce forms and reports to suit their needs. AccuFund for Government can also be used for licensing, including sales tax, premise certificates, and building permits, with the ability to directly print serialized licences. Users can also track court fines, with records for bonds, payments, and court dates, and integration with the accounts payable module allowing for the refund of bonds.
