Virtuozzo is a portable, flexible, and elastic hyperconverged infrastrastructure software solution that merges system containers, hypervisor, and software-defined storage into one efficient and consistent platform. Implemented on millions of virtual environments, Virtuozzo is used by hosting and service providers, independent software vendors (ISV), and enterprises to achieve high-density and high-performance virtualization while reducing true cost of ownership.
Virtuozzo is equipped with encrypted containers which performance and density is greater than that of traditional virtual machines. Built based on new Linux kernel, these containers accelerate the delivery of applications and workloads to production. The hyperconverged infrastructure solution uses a hypervisor that leverages and optimizes the open-source hypervisor known as KVM or Kernel-Based Virtual Machine. With this hypervisor, users will be able to deploy virtual machines at a lower cost. High-performance hardware virtualization can also be executed on a smaller infrastructure footprint.
