The Evil Within incorporates a modified version of the id Tech 5 Engine. The storyline of this thrilling game follows Detective Sebastian Castellanos, who, while investigating a brutal mass murder, is knocked unconscious and abducted. Sebastian then wakes up in a strange world where monstrous, bloodthirsty creatures roam free. Sebastian must now embark on a terrifying journey to discover the truth behind the inexplicable situation and fight for his survival while doing so.
In desperate search of a way out, you are required to scour the grotesque supernatural world with limited resources and battle the forces of pure evil. You will be confronted by vicious traps and unimaginable horrors and, more often than not, you must use the very devilish devices that the savage creatures of the paranormal world utilize in order to make it out of ordeals alive. With danger always looming out of the darkness, you must be on your toes at all times and make your way through wretched buildings, corridors and more so as to stay safe. The environments that The Evil Within offers are highly detailed and horrendous, hence, this game is sure to put you on the edge of your seat and at the height of terror.
