SpellCheckPlus is an online grammar and spelling checker designed for students who are using English as their second language. The spell checker and grammar analysis tool is described as both teacher- and student-friendly, and aims to help students identify errors in their writing, learn from their mistakes, and write better in English. Therefore, it is built as a teaching tool which ensures that students can understand clearly why they are committing grammar and spelling mistakes and what they need to do to rectify such mistakes. Moreover, SpellCheckPlus has a free and a paid version. The free version of the tool, however, has a text length restriction, allowing students to submit text for checking with a maximum of 2000 characters at a time. To be able to submit a text beyond this text length limit, they can purchase SpellCheckPlus Pro, the paid version of the tool that offers more advanced features. With its paid version, users will be able to access a detailed summary of errors; and they can also answer some grammar exercises.
