Sapling is a cloud-based HR management and onboarding solution designed to assist businesses in managing employee data, automating workflows, and enhancing the employee experience throughout their time at the company. The software is aimed particularly at mid-market companies with at least 100 employees, especially those with multiple international offices. Sapling’s self-service portal allows employees to complete and sign documents, provide information, and explore their organization electronically. The preboarding experience can be setup to introduce new hires to the company mission, culture, teams, and more, before their first day. All users can access an interactive organization chart which updates in real-time with details of title changes, employee departures, and contact information, removing the need for multiple systems to be updated manually. With customizable workflows and email templates, Sapling enables HR process automation, with the aim of reducing administrative workload. Delegated tasks can be completed directly from within users’ emails, and comments and @mentions facilitate communication between team members. eSignature tools, including a paperwork packet builder, allow administrators to create, upload, and distribute documents requiring signatures, with employees able to sign their paperwork online to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations at the city, state, or federal level. Dashboards and customizable reports provide HR insights, field auditing, and the ability to track key information, and data can be exported to Google Sheets with a single click. Sapling also integrates with a range of applicant tracking and payroll solutions to enable synchronization of employee data across systems.
