Notifications can be sent in real time to alert groups to emergency situations, communicate within a crisis, share company-wide information and updates, and inform employees of shift openings and job referrals. RedFlag also facilitates two-way communication, meaning recipients can provide feedback to confirm that they have received the message, or ask questions, and issues can be responded to in a timely manner. To create a notification, users are able to customize a pre-built RedFlag message template, or create their alert from scratch in a range of formats including email, SMS, and voice messages. With the click of a button, a message can be sent to multiple channels and all recipients are notified in real time when a message is received. Employees or members of groups are able to sign up to receive notifications using the self-service registration portal, or recipients can be added in bulk through database import. When sending a notification, users are able to select the recipients from a contact list, create recipient segments to send the message to specific groups, or send to individuals.
