About Pastel

Pastel is a cloud-based SaaS tool designed to support the collaborative submission and collection of feedback on live websites. Born out of the concept that leaving feedback on a website could be made as simple as leaving a sticky note on a meeting board or environment surface, Pastel supports an unlimited number of collaborators without extra logins or software installation. The product works using "canvases" that are accessible via links that can be visited in any web browser, creating sharable canvas URLs based on the live website address. All stakeholders including team members, managers or clients can then open this link and click onto the sticky note-like canvas to begin typing and entering feedback comments directly. Optimized to be responsive across desktop, smartphone and tablet browsers, Pastel then retains all the given feedback within one place, including any attached screenshots plus tagged browser metadata such as screen size information etc. Comments can then be exported to Trello for enhanced collaborative workflows as part of the resolution process, translating the gathered feedback into actionable insights for designers and developers.
