About Nexus Clinical

Nexus Clinical is a web-based electronic health record (EHR) solution which offers EHR and practice management features for a range of practice types, including orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, general surgery, podiatry, cardiology, pulmonary, pain management, family medicine, behavioral health, physical therapy, gastroenterology, and ENT. The platform is HIPAA compliant and ONC 2015 Edition (Meaningful Use stage 3) certified. Nexus Clinical supports multimodal input, allowing users to enter data through templates, free text, voice-to-text, or dictation. Documents can be uploaded, scanned, or created from templates, and users can view all patient documents and manage faxes. Appointments can be created on the built-in calendar, and users can print appointments, view appointments by month, week, or day, and sync appointments with Google Calendar. Patients can be created, viewed, and merged, and document management, encounter documentation, medical histories, and other clinical activities can be carried out for individual patients. Nexus Clinical’s dashboard provides users with a summary of the day’s appointments, open encounters, pending documents for sign off, and tasks in a single view. Tasks can be assigned to individual staff or groups, and reassigned, executed, or closed. Users can send messages to individuals or groups of staff, and communicate with patients through secure messaging. A range of medical calculators are built in, and MU/MIPS reports can be generated, including Automated Measures/ACI and clinical quality measures (CQM) reports. Nexus Clinical also offers lab and radiology order management, Rx transmission and renewal request management, and more.

Labs and radiology orders can be managed, with the ability to record and view results, and connection with the Surescripts Network enables e-prescribing.
