About Kleisteen

Kleisteen is an online accounting software for Dutch SMEs, entrepreneurs and accountants that provides tools for project administration, invoicing, inventory management, time tracking, and more. The system integrates with a range of major banks, including ING, bunq, Rabobank and Triodos bank. Kleisteen includes a dashboard to give users insight into important metrics such as cash flow, sales, costs, and gross profit margin. The platform allows users to create and send branded invoices to customers in PDF format, track invoice statuses, and send out reminders for unpaid bills. Invoices are directly integrated with the accounting system so that turnover and sales tax are automatically posted upon invoice creation, and payments are reconciled with bank accounts. Kleisteen also supports adjustable hourly billing rates per task, project, client, employee, or flat rates for invoicing billable time. Kleisteen's project management tools enable the linking of tasks, activities, employees, and billable hours to individual projects, and allows managers to track project statuses. Inventory management functionality includes purchase orders and sales orders, support for multiple price lists, pro forma invoices, order confirmations, and packing notes, serial/batch number and expiration date tracking, composite products, backordering, and more. Kleisteen also offers subscription billing and SEPA payment processing.
