About IPM Project Management

IPM Project Management is a project management software designed for the engineering and construction industries, which offers tools for managing change requests and change orders, contracts, submittals, resources, timesheets, job tasks, progress, and more. The system is built on the Microsoft Dynamics platform, and utilizes Microsoft Outlook for its user interface. IPM Project Management’s contract management capabilities include sending and receiving of change requests and change orders, subcontractor performance assessment, progress billing and invoice generation, purchase order (PO) creation and maintenance, creation of approval workflows, request for quotes (RFQ), subcontracts and subcontract variations, and jobs setup and budgets. Contracts, price schedules, and budgets can all be imported from Excel spreadsheets, and ERP integrations allow purchase orders to be automatically sent to an accounting system once they have been approved. The document control capabilities of IPM Project Management include request for information (RFI) management, recording of submittals and responses, distribution of meeting minutes, entering daily logs and field reports, risk documentation, issue and defect recording, job checklists, site instructions, and notice of delay creation. IPM Project Management also allows users to create frameworks for process automations, with the option to automate organizational processes as a whole, or individual interactions on a per-user basis. The IPM dashboard can be customized by each user to suit their needs, and grants direct access to documents that require further examination.
