eTrainCenter is a web-based learning management system (LMS) and learning content management system (LCMS) designed to enable the organization, management and delivery of online courses. The platform provides virtual classrooms for delivering distance learning in real-time, course content management tools, assessments and certification management, eCommerce functionality for selling courses, and more. eTrainCenter supports SCORM content, allowing users to import existing courses bought off-the-shelf, exported from another LMS, or created in SCORM-compliant authoring software. Users can also create their own courses and manage content with support for text, images, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, PDF files, Macromedia Flash files, and video streaming through various players. Custom certificates can also be created automatically upon course completion from uploaded certificate templates. Users can create multiple versions of questions and exams in eTrainCenter, with support for beta questions allowing users to check question effectiveness and accuracy before they are added to live assessments. Multiple question formats are supported, and users can assign questions to topics, randomize questions and answers, and determine how exam feedback should be displayed. Grading is carried out in real time, and students are automatically sent their results via email.
