Benefits
Dentrix Ascend supports multiple sites
Dentrix Ascend supports multiple sites so that dental practicioners can set up numerous locations yet use just one unified software for all their operational, business, and clinical needs. Each branch has individual scheduling and reporting capabilities. Patient records are filed per establishment, but can be shared across all locations in case regulars visit a different branch. Roles can be assigned depending on locations and users so that the right information is provided to the permitted people. Every user is presented with a practice overview upon logging onto the application to that everyone can stay on top of schedules and announcements.
A treatment planner allows users to create, present, and schedule cases using simple drag-and-drop actions.
It also monitors patients’ acceptance and progress, and inputs patient treatment plans. The solution is capable of managing up to 10 insurance plans per patient and easily review eligibility details. Dentrix Ascend also offers eServices so users can submit insurance claims electronically and automate patient communication.
Customizable clinic charts
Dentrix Ascend’s customizable clinic charts allow personnel to indicate conditions, procedures, and clinical notes. Related procedures can be grouped together using multi-codes. Users have the option to choose from a catalog of existing medical alerts, or create a customized one. Alerts can be tagged based on priority levels and is easily viewable whenever a patient record is opened.
Dentrix Ascend provides a built-in, web-based imaging solution called Dexis.
This means that users do not need to install a separate application for imaging requirements. An integrated document manager safekeeps and manages these images along with other patient files, with tags for easy retrieval.
