About Chargent

Chargent is a lightweight credit card and ACH payment system that works inside of Salesforce, enabling users to add payments to any business transaction. The customizable add-on comes with pre-built integrations for over 20 payment gateways, including Authorize.net, Stripe, and Vantiv. The solution serves small nonprofits to large call centers, and can be used for one time or recurring billing. Chargent enables salespeople and customer service agents to efficiently process payments directly from Salesforce opportunities, cases or orders. Users can send payment request emails directly from the Salesforce platform, and receive instant responses from payment gateways. Recurring billing features support easily adjustable payment schedules including daily to biennially automatic payments with all payment gateways. Chargent works by embedding payment buttons directly into the Salesforce platform, enabling users to capture revenue instantly by entering a customer's credit card information. The system provides a full history of transactions for every customer, including refunds, declined transactions, and total amount paid. All payment data such as status, amounts, and payment gateway response messages may be used to trigger emails to customers, or as notifications for the team. Chargent’s developer tools enable users to integrate external systems with an API, as well as create customized Force.com site payment pages. The solution is PCI compliant, and offers encrypted fields and custom profiles, alongside various other Salesforce security features. Chargent also connects to other Salesforce applications such as Financial Force and Accounting Seed.
