Carestream Vue PACS is an enterprise-level, online Picture Archiving Communication System for radiologists and physicians. Delivering the tools and applications required for local and remote reporting within a single workspace, it adds a web-enabled diagnostic "PowerViewer" monitor with integrated, advanced and fully 64-bit visualization capabilities. Connecting imaging accessibility to all clinicians regardless of location, features include real-time volumetric matching and automatic registration, 3D data display with automatic vessel segmentation, plus interactive multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and multiple exam imaging for comparative analysis. Reporting capabilities include native PACS report generation using dictation via speech recognition input. Key images can also be embedded, while Vue PACS reporting can automatically insert quantitative and comparative analysis data into tabular forms. The inclusion of anatomical bookmarks is then represented by hyperlinks that allow other users to navigate out directly to the linked critical findings. Carestream Vue PACS also provides a newly embedded lesion management module that supports quantitative comparisons of historical exam results, accepting prior results as baseline images regardless of source modality. Similarly, the system's mammography module (Vue Mammo) also facilitates the reading of mammograms, plus breast ultrasound, MRI and digital Tomosynthesis (DBT) exams.
