Approvers are automatically sent email notification of new requests, and when the request is approved or rejected, the requester is automatically emailed the decision.

Users can change their leave requests after submission, with a further approval required if the request had already been approved, and approvers can reverse their decisions at any time, with users notified if this occurs.

The inbuilt wallchart shows color-coded approved and pending leave requests, with support for half days and public holidays.

Bindle includes basic public holiday calendars for each user, with weekends not considered working days, and users can create their own calendars to suit different holiday arrangements.

A read-only version of approved bookings can be viewed in Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or other programs with iCalendar format support.

Additional days can be added on to leave balances by administrators if necessary, such as when an extra weekend day is worked.
