About ArbiMed Inventory

ArbiMed Inventory is a cloud-based clinical supply inventory management solution designed for use in small to medium sized medical, dental, surgical, veterinary, and retina practices. ArbiMed includes a clinical supply database which contains details of commonly used inventory items, designed to expedite the setup process by removing the need for users to manually enter details for all items. Barcode scanning is also supported, allowing users to scan items to enter data into the system, rather than manually counting items in and out. Users can track stock movements by room, doctor, and usage type, and also track usage by department and location. Stock levels can be monitored in real time, and re-order points/par levels can be set to alert users to low stock and the need to re-order. ArbiMed integrates with medical suppliers via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and users can create purchase orders and track their orders electronically from purchase through to receipt. Partial shipments and back-orders can be tracked, and users can choose between First In/First Out (FIFO) and Last In/First Out (LIFO) methods of total inventory accounting. A number of standard reports are built in, and custom reports can also be created to meet users’ needs.
