Cancellation, Refund and Return on WareBuy
Only purchases made on WareBuy.com are eligible for cancellation or refund or return, as the case may be, under this policy.
As the WareBuy.com offers both, Software and Smartware, on the platform, the terms governing their cancellation or return or refund are explained in brief below:
- Software solutions sales are not eligible for cancellation post confirmation of the sale.
- The buyers will enjoy a 24 hours window to confirm their sale by making payment for the intended software solution. The 24 hour window to start from the time of invoice generation.
All confirmed software sales are eligible for refund only if:
- The download of the software solution so purchased fails due to some technical problem which wasn’t caused at buyer’s end. Buyers and sellers agree to share required details (e.g. user logs, remote access) to ascertain the origin of the problem
- The software solution so purchased doesn’t match the listing and details on the product offering page
- The software does not activate after purchase
- The refund (full or pro-rated or partial) refund shall be processed within 10 working days after the problem has been confirmed by WareBuy as a “valid reason for refund” and said problem cannot be fixed by vendor
- No return and refund request shall be entertained if the software so purchased is damaged by Buyer’s negligence or by any virus/malware or similar threat existing in Buyer’s computer, mobile or any other electronic or a storage devise.
- Smartware orders can only be cancelled before the purchased smartware is shipped.
The request for return and refund of Smartware can only be raised in following conditions:
- If the product is not delivered in the within stipulated time for the reasons not beyond WareBuy’s or seller’s control
- If damaged product is delivered. Provided that the damage was not caused during transit/logistics/shipping arranged by the Buyer.
- If the product is not as per the listing or details given in product information section on website
For Smartwares to be eligible for return and refund those:
- Shall be returned in original condition and packing
- Shall not have been used
- Shall not have been damaged
- Shall be examined by WareBuy/Seller before confirming the return or refund
- In case of any manufacturing defect only a replacement of the product shall be given. Products with manufacturing defects are not eligible for return and refund.
- Buyers may be liable for any loss in value of the item if this loss in value is attributed to a handling which is not necessary for the purpose of checking the quality, characteristics and functioning of the item. Some sellers may deduct the amount of loss from the amount refunded to the buyer if the item is returned after being used or damaged by the buyer
- Buyers are responsible for shipping of the products to be returned
- The seller is required to accept the return at the same location specified in the listing or at an address that does not result in a materially different return cost for the buyer
- The seller is responsible for any customs and duty fees on the returned item
- The seller is required to refund a buyer upon receipt of a returned item
After confirming that the item was returned to the seller, a refund of the cost of the item (less any loss in the item's value, if the item is returned after it was used or damaged by the buyer) and original shipping is sent to the original payment method or the buyer's PayPal account. If the buyer arranged shipping or picked up the item, we may not refund the amount of original shipping or pickup cost. The seller is required to reimburse WareBuy for the amount of the refund.
- This policy applies only to the transactions taking place on WareBuy.com
- All cancellation, return and refund requests shall be raised on WareBuy.com through the communication channels provided
- Both, buyer and seller, authorise WareBuy to monitor, review and use for future reference and services improvement all communications taking place on WareBuy.com
- Buyers and sellers are required to use WareBuy.com for raising requests and communicating with each other. WareBuy is not bound by and is held harmless against by buyers and sellers for any liability arising out of the communication/dealing not taking place on WareBuy.com
- WareBuy does not provide refunds for change of mind or purchasing a product that does not meet the stated system requirements after the product has been emailed to the customer or after downloading the product. We suggest you contact us first prior to purchasing the software if you are unsure.
Refunds will be credited back to the credit/debit card that customers used to place their order; refunds are processed from our platform immediately after ascertaining that the return or cancellation is eligible for refund. That the time taken to credit to the customer depends entirely on the customers card issuer and/or bank account.
