UberConference is a cloud-based conferencing system produced by a private company in San Francisco known as Switch Communications, Inc. Before the launch of UberConference, the company had launched a restaurant-seating application called NoshList. UberConference was launched in May 2012 at TechCrunch Disrupt that is the annual trade conference and was chosen to be the best new product. It is a visual audio conferencing system that allows the callers to see the avatar of the other participants on the mobile browsers or on the desktops. One thing to note about UberConference is that it is a conference calling tool, and not a video conference tool.
