About ECi M1

M1’s production module allows users to manage jobs, specify required assemblies and materials, track employee labor hours, and monitor production progress.

The inventory and purchasing modules

The inventory and purchasing modules enable the evaluation of suppliers and negotiation of contracts, linking of documents to purchase orders, and automatic recommendations through the Purchasing Planner based on selected filters such as supplier, part, and job.

Built-in accounting tools

Built-in accounting tools include forecasting through accounts receivable performance and projected cash flow reports, financial scheduling for automation of recurring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and journal entries, time card management, commissions reporting, invoice generation, and more.

Shipping

Shipping can be managed through M1’s integrations with FedEx and UPS, packing slip and shipping label printing, and automated updates of jobs and sales order backlog upon creation of shipping orders.

Quality assurance module

The quality assurance module allows users to configure inspection regimes to match their company’s requirements.
